The Vikas Yatra of Chief Minister Raman Singh would commence from August 19 from Aarang to Mana in Raipur district on account of three-day State mourning following demise of MP Dilip Singh Judeo at Medanta Hospital in Gurgaon on August 14.
The Vikas Yatra was earlier scheduled from August 17. As a result minor changes had been effected in the schedule in which the Vikas Yatra from Ratanpur to Mungeli would be held on August 22, Mungeli to Bilaspur on August 23, Bilaspur to Korba on August 24, Korba to Kharsia on August 25, Pachpedi to Janjgir on August 26, Janjgir to Sajti on August 27, Sakti to Raigarh on August 30 and Raigarh to Pathalgaon on August 31. The Vikas Yatra would conclude on September 7 at Ambikapur.
