Vikas Upadhyay has been appointed as City President of Raipur Shehar (District)Congress Committee. The appointment has been approved by National President of Congress Party Sonia Gandhi.
The letter regarding this appointment reached in the office of Pradesh Congress President Dr Charandas Mahant from the office of General Secretary AICC and State in charge B K Hariprasad on Tuesday. Dr Mahant has congratulated Vikas Upadhyay and hoped that Upadhyay’s appointment would further strengthen the party in Raipur City. Mahant also lauded Inder chand Dhariwal for handling his responsibilities as President of Raipur City Congress for more than eight years.
