The wholesale vegetable sellers have threatened to launch an agitation if proper facilities are not provided at the newly shifted Shyamtarai Krishi Upaj Mandi here. Ashok Patel, President of Wholesale Vegetable Market Association, said that while the market has been shifted but traders have not been facilitated with shed that has made it miserable for them to do their business under the scorching sun. There is no arrangement for maintaining cleanliness, he said. Patel warned of launching intense agitation if the problems are not solved at the earliest. Reacting on the issue, Mandi Secretary SB Mitra has assured the traders to lay murrum and to provide other necessary facilities.
