Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday congratulated Vanshika Pandey on becoming the first woman lieutenant from the state in the Indian Army.
Women and Child Development Minister Anila Bhedia also congratulated Pandey for the achievement, an official communication said.
Baghel said Pandey had brought laurels to the entire state including her parents. Her success will become a source of inspiration for lakhs of girls of the state. Pandey, grew up in Rajnandgaon.
