Information Communication Technology (ICT) will be used during classroom learning to make the study of subjects like English, mathematics and science interesting and interactive in Chhattisgarh’s schools.
The Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai, is imparting training to teachers through a nine-month hybrid course.
The hybrid mode of teaching seeks to overcome the deficiency in the learning ability of children caused since the Covid-19 pandemic period.
A total of 300 teachers were trained. Tuesday was the concluding day, said Dr. M. Sudhish, Assistant Director of State Project Office, Samagra Shiksha.
He said the Samagra Shiksha programme has formed a Professional Learning Community, which provides opportunities and platforms to teachers of primary and secondary schools to learn from each other. It has helped in bringing major changes in school education at the grassroots level.
Now, the High and Higher Secondary School students are being targeted.
It also envisages to generate ideas for supporting learning materials, various online materials and courses, improve the assessment process, question banks, remedial teaching methods and other issues.
