For development of the official language Hindi, it is necessary to follow each and every instruction being given by higher authorities in this regard,” said Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of South Eastern Coalfields limited (SECl) Om Prakash.
Presiding over the inaugural function of Hindi fortnight, Omprakash said, ‘On this occasion, we should personally introspect our work to find out the effort made by us for developing Hindi around the year. Although, Hindi is popular among people for interaction, but its usage in official work is still limited which needs to be enhanced.’
The usage of Hindi should be encouraged in extensive manner, the CMD said.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, SECl’s Director (Personnel) Dr R S Jha said the acceptance of Hindi could easily be witnessed across the country because it is easy, intelligible and comprehensible in use. With rich vocabulary, Hindi binds the entire nation with single bond, he said.
