To turn the dream of Smart City into reality, Special Secretary of the Urban Administration Department (UAD) Rohit Yadav convened a meeting to review status of work under Smart City projects here on Sunday.
During the meeting, Yadav reviewed the ongoing works under Smart City project and asked the officials to speed up the same and focus on making all wards of Raipur city Open Defecation Free (ODF) at the earliest.
The officials informed that already 53 wards of the city have become ODF.
He sought information regarding the project management consultant and directed the Smart City consultants to make detailed project report, invite tenders, issue work order and set deadlines for completion of various works within the given time frame.
Yadav ordered the Smart City project officials to speed up the tendering process for various projects.
