The State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers under leadership of Union Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is going to commence a ‘Padyatra’ from affected Pachram village of Jashpur district from Saturday.
Sai, in a statement charged that some miscreants in a well hatched conspiracy were misguiding the innocent tribals. An awareness march would therefore be taken out from Saturday, he said.
The Yatra which would be taken out from Pachram village which would traverse the nearby villages on the inaugural day, he said.
Notably, the epicenter of the ‘Pathargarhi’ movement is the village Pachram and the BJP has decided to initiate its awareness move from the said village.
Sai further informed that local leaders of Jashpur as well as senior leaders of Surguja division would actively participate in the programme.
He said that the BJP is always behind the tribals and is working for their rights. Some people are misguiding the innocent tribals , he said.
