State Bharatiya Janata Party President Dharamlal Kaushik while hailing the Union Budget announcements on Friday said that the provisions made in the Budget would be instrumental in shaping a ‘new India.’

The Budget reflects feeling of welfare for all sections of the society and would fulfill the dreams and aspirations of the citizens, he said.

In a statement, Kaushik said on one hand by declaring ‘Kisan Samman Nidhi’ for the farmers, the Government had shown commitment for rural India.

The middle class would be benefitted with the increase in income tax slab, he said.

Kaushik also appreciated the provisions made in Rail Budget of Rs 64,587 crore.

It is expected that the fiscal deficit in coming financial year would be reduced to 3.4% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and inflation would reduce to 7% from the earlier 10%, he said.
