Several Indian medical students who fled Ukraine demonstrated here on Sunday demanding that the Chhattisgarh government accommodate them in the state's medical colleges.
The students had to leave Ukraine midway and their medical course remains incomplete.
They staged a day-long dharna at Budha Talab and asked the Health Minister to get them admitted in local medical colleges.
They said they had expected the war to end soon so that they could go back for studies but the war was continuing.
The students warned of an indefinite protest if their demand was not met.
