Two women vaccination staffers, Pinki Khare and Pramila Dewangan of Chhattisgarh, will be felicitated at a programme of the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to be held in New Delhi on the occasion of the International Women’s Day on March 8.
Under the programme, the contribution of healthcare workers willd be acknowledged and they will be felicitated with national awards, an official communication from the Health Department said.
Pinki Khare alone administered over 70,000 anti-Covid jabs while the vaccination done by Pramila Dewangan amounts to more than 45,000.
Khare hails from Kabirdham while Dewangan belongs to Raigarh district, an official communication said.
