Chhattisgarh Police on Sunday arrested two more persons involved in the abduction of Raipur-based interior designer for a ransom of Rs 1 crore here.
Raipur Additional Superintendent of Police Abhishek Maheshwari told The Pioneer that Varun Tripathi (24) and Nilesh Upadhyay (28), both from Uttar Pradesh, have been taken into custody.
Two of the abductors, Ankit Mishra and Raj Tomar, were nabbed last week while one person involved in the kidnapping is still on the run.
They abducted Siddharth Ashatkar (24) on June 2 night from Sunder Nagar following the construction of a palatial house by the latter’s father.
