Two lower rung Naxalites on Saturday surrendered to security forces in Bijapur district in Chhattisgarh.
They are Madvi Pojja (23) and Madvi Mahesh alias Budu (22), Bijapur Superintendent of Police Anjaneya Vaishnav said.
Pojja was a supply team member of the Pamed Area Committee and Budu was a militia member.
They were involved in several Maoist incidents between 2015 and 2022, the officer added.
