With a view to providing employment opportunity to the youths of the district in private industrial organisations and professional institutions located Raipur, Durg and Bhilai, a two-day district level ‘Rozgar Mela’ (job fair) will be organised at Narayanpur district headquarters from May 19.
The job fair organised at the Government Boys Higher Secondary School Narayanpur will begin from 9 am on both the days. On May 19, youths from Abujhmarh block would get the opportunity to attend the fair, whereas on May 20, youths from Narayanpur block can attend it.
Educational qualification will not be a binding for the youths attending the job fair and both educated and uneducated boys and girls can participate in the job placement. Youths selected through this job fair should be ready to work in the industrial and professional institutions established in Raipur, Durg and Bhilai.
During the job fair, officers and representatives of industrial and professional institutions of the state capital, Durg and Bhilai will be present and select human resources for their respective institutions.
Collector Yashwant Kumar has issued instructions to the officers concerned to ensure all necessary preparations, including transportation arrangement for the youths coming from far-flung areas for the job fair. He also instructed them to make wide publicity of the job fair in rural areas. He urged the youths of the district to take benefits of the job fair by attending in it in large number.
