The Managing Director of the Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation (TRIFED), Praveer Krishna, has asked officials to get ready the TRIFED industrial area by August 15.
Krishna reached Jagdalpur on Friday and carried out an inspection of the under development industrial area at Semra near Jagdalpur.
The industrial area is being developed over 25 acres with investment of Rs 6 crore, a press release said.
Here forest produces like tamarind, mahua, amla and honey will be collected, processed and packaged for sale.
Krishna told officials to complete all the related works by August 15. He asked district Collector Rajat Bansal to constantly monitor the work quality.
He asked officials to increase the manpower to meet the deadline.
