Raipur City District Congress Committee President, Vikas Upadhyay along with the former President, Inderchand Dhadiwal, former MlA, Kuldeep Juneja and social worker, Sheikh Aqil were among others attended the programme organised by the Cultural Department of Raipur Municipal Corporation (RMC) to mark the occasion.
A programme was also organised in Congress Bhawan to remember the contribution made by the late Prime Minister in building the nation.
On the occasion, senior party leaders felicitated the students, who exhibited excellence performance in different activities organised as a part of three-day celebration to mark 125th birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India, Pt Jawaharlal Nehru on November 14. Bhupesh Baghel, ClP leader, TS Singhdeo, MlA, Satyanarayan Sharma and other senior party leaders were present.
