Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has appointed one chairman and two deputy chairmen each for Sarguja Region Tribal Development Authority, Bastar Region Tribal Development Authority and Central Region Tribal Development Authority on Thursday.
As per order, Khelsai Singh has been made chairman of the Sarguja region while his deputies are Brihaspath Singh and Gulab Kamro.
Lakeshwar Baghel has been made chairman of the Bastar Region. Santram Netam and Vikram Mandavi have been made his deputies.
Similarly, Laljeet Rathia has been made chairman of the central region with Laxmi Dhruve and Purushottam Kanwar as his deputies.
The chairmen of these authorities have been given the status of cabinet ministers and deputy chairmen got the status equivalent to a minister of state.
