Chhattisgarh's Sports and Youth Welfare Directorate has announced selection trials for admission to Sports Academies in the state.
For the August 24-25 event, the players have to register with the district sports office and Sports and Youth Welfare, Khel Bhawan, Raipur.
The trial is scheduled for boys and girls in the residential Hockey Academy, the non-residential Archery Academy and the non-residential Athletics Academy including the non-residential Football Academy for girls.
The players, boys and girls, should be aged between 13 and 17 years as on April 1, an official communication said on Saturday.
The selection of 35 for hockey, 15 for archery and 50 for athletics (both boys and girls) as well as 50 for football (only girls) will be done.
After final selection, the players will be given insurance cover, medical expenses, special training and coaching advance and sports scholarship.
