To assess the impact of traffic, a trial run of 60-70 buses was conducted on Wednesday at the Inter-State Bus Terminal Bhatagaon in Chhattisgarh's capital.

Raipur Collector Saurabh Kumar, Senior Superintendent of Police Prashant Agarwal as well as bus operators and owners were present.

Raipur Regional Transport Officer Shailabh Sahu said all the concerned departments’ officials too were present to carry out an assessment.

Videography of traffic movement and arrangements were taken. The bus operators suggested traffic improvement near Pachpedi Chowk Bridge.

On Tuesday, a meeting on shifting of the bus terminal from Pandri to the Inter-State Bus Terminal Bhatagaon was held with bus operators and owners.

Based on their suggestions, the trial was held to rectify any fault in smooth movement of traffic including buses on the route.

Due to heavy traffic pressure at Pandri Bus Terminal, a new Inter-State Bus Terminal Bhatagaon was constructed. It is close to the Ring Road. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had inaugurated it on August 20.
