The 219 Transport Facility Centers in Chhattisgarh are helping people to avoid unauthorized agents when they seek transport related services.
The centers have come up near people's homes besides generating employment, an official communiqué said on Sunday.
The centers include 32 in the District Transport Office in Raipur, 4 in Kanker, 12 in Rajnandgaon and 9 in Raigarh.
Similarly, 14 facilities have started in Mahasamund, 18 in Dhamtari, 18 in Janjgir-Champa, 8 in Jagdalpur, 2 in Baikunthpur, 6 in Ambikapur, 10 in Surajpur, 9 in Kondagaon, 14 in Kabirdham, 13 in Gariaband, 8 in Sukma, 3 in Balrampur, 4 in Jashpur, 2 in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 9 in Korba, 7 in Mungeli, 12 in Balodabazar-Bhatapara and 5 in Balod.
The centers are authorized to issue learning license. The guidelines prescribe the charges for various services.
