A two-day training for the District Election Officer, the Returning and Assistant Returning Officers and seven other officers was conducted here on Sunday for the smooth conduct of the Assembly by-election to be held from Marwahi (ST) seat.
State Chief Electoral Officer Dr Reena Babasaheb Kangale inaugurated the training programme during which safety from Covid-19 and detailed information regarding the electoral process were discussed.
The programme was attended by Joint Collector U.S Agarwal, Additional Raipur Municipal Commissioner Pulak Bhattacharya and Joint Chief Electoral Officer Bipin Manjhi among others.
On Monday, the Returning, Assistant Returning and Nodal officers will get training on postal ballot, model code of conduct, election expenditure monitoring, paid news and fake news.
