Officers and employees of the district administration accorded a touching farewell to Collector P Dayanand, at a programme organised here the other day. Addressing the function, out-going Collector Dayanand said that it was the extended cooperation of the district-level officials that helped in proper implementation of government projects and schemes and thereby leading the district towards overall development. He expressed gratitude towards the officials and employees for reposing confidence and extended supported to him for accomplishing the ultimate objective. He said that in his two-year tenure, enough efforts have been made for executing Government works and plans with quality apart from solving the problems of people from root-level. Besides, efforts have also been made to reach benefits of Government schemes every person, he said.
Additional Collector RD Diwan expressed thanks to Dayanand for the motivation he has given to the subordinates and said it was the motivation that has enabled the officers and employees to do their work in more efficient manner. He said that it was because of the able guidance of the Collector that the Panchayat and Rural Development department achieved milestones in many schemes. Besides, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and other government projects were also executed in a proper manner, said added. Deputy Collector Ashok Tiwari proposed the vote of thanks.
