Chhattisgarh Police on Sunday said a woman Naxalite who was injured in a gunfight with security forces last week in Dantewada district has died.
According to reliable sources, Kerlapal Area Committee member and Area CNM Commander Kumari Erra alias Dirdo carried a reward of Rs 5 lakh on her head, Dantewada Superintendent of Police Gaurav Rai said.
Dirdo was among those Maoists who were injured when two hardcore women Maoists were killed in a gun battle between Chhotehidma and Dunginpara villages on Tuesday night.
