Additional Director General of Police (Anti-Naxal Operation) RK Vij, Police IG Deepanshu Kabra along with other senior officials visited one of the worst insurgency-hit districts Bijapur recently and reviewed the ongoing Anti-Naxal Operation here.
The officials unanimously decided to step up drive against the insurgents in the district which is the breeding ground for the rebels for the years. Officials said that the meeting was largely focused on preparing a special strategy on anti-naxal activities and providing security to the locals.
District Collector Yashwant Kumar, SP Kl Dhruv, Additional SP IK Elesela, Chief Executive Officer Zila Panchayat Abhishek Singh and other district officers were present on this occasion.
