Tamil Nadu is going to adapt the paddy procurement policy and the Public Distribution Scheme (PDS) of Chhattisgarh.
Senior officials of the Tamil Nadu government on Friday took information about these schemes from their counterparts here through videoconferencing.
They expressed satisfaction over the implementation of the schemes, an official statement said on Friday.
The Commissioner of Food and Civil Supplies Corporation, Tamil Nadu, Dr Anand Kumar, the Managing Director, MARKFED, V. Rajaraman, and the Special Secretary, Chhattisgarh Food Department, Manoj Kumar Soni, attended the meeting.
