A total of ten Tippers received under the AMR Scheme in Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) were inaugurated by SK Jain, General Manager In-charge (Works), Bhilai Steel Plant on Tuesday (October 5).
Present on the occasion were Pramod Kumar Dwivedi, GM I/c (Iron), MB Ganesamoorthy, GM (Shops), SV Padegaonkar, GM (SPs) and SN Abidi, GM (PPC) , a BSP press release issued here on Wednesday stated.
Nine out of the 10 Tippers are earmarked by the plant Garage to meet frequent requirement of transportation of bulk material at the various production units of the plant, while one Tipper will be used internally by Sinter Plant-2. The addition of this new fleet will greatly enhance the bulk material transportation capacity of the plant and will significantly reduce the cost of bulk material transportation, while at the same time this will also improve the overall safety.
The programme was conducted by VK Rath, DGM Incharge (Plant Garage). DP Vishwakarma, DGM I/c (PP&E), KS Basar, DGM I/c (SP-2), SK Badhiye, DGM (FSS & TPl) BK Saraf, DGM (IED), PK Rastogi, DGm (CPD), D Ashokan, DGM (MARS-2) and PK Niyogi, DGM (MARS-3) were present on the occasion. Special contribution for organizing the programme was made by RB Gaharwar, DGM (Plant Garage), H Singh, DGM (Plant Garage), P Bhaumik, AGM (Plant Grage), K Gnananand, AGM (Plant Garage) and other officers and employees of the Plant Garage collective.
