A Tiffin bomb was recovered from Samri police station limits of Balrampur district and defused during search operation carried out by joint team of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and District Force (DF), police said on Friday. According to information received from Police Headquarters in Raipur, the bomb weighing about 5 kg was found during search operation in Sabag outpost under Samri police station. The team of CRPF and DF was carrying out search operation in Navdih, Bandarchua, Chanchalchua, Panchpedi, Chunchuna and Pudang villages. The bomb was detected in a nullah near Kurrgama village. Immediately, the bomb disposal squad was called at the spot which defused the bomb, police informed.
