Three witnesses on Monday recorded their statements before the Silger, Sarkeguda and Chimlipenta Commission headed by Justice (Retd) VK Agrawal which commenced its inquiry into the alleged firing by security forces on families of 21 tribals on the intervening night of June 28 during an anti-naxal operation last year.
The three witnesses recorded their statement with the Commission during its first hearing in the office of the Bastar Division Commissioner. A total of 27 witnesses had arrived on Monday to record their statements before the Commission.
