Three officers and one employee of South East Central Railway Zone will receive national award for the year 2018-19 at the 64th Annual Railway National Award event scheduled on July 7 at Jamshedji Bhabha Theatre, Mumbai. Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal will be the chief guest at the event.
According to Railways, the officers selected for the award are secretary Himanshu Jain, Senior Railway Division Commercial Manager Tanmay Mukhopadhyay, Raipur and Uday Kumar Bharati Senior Division Personnel Officer, Bilaspur. In employees category the awardee is Vinayak Meshram, Sub Inspector.
Jain is being felicitated for Hindi essay competition while Tanmay for achieving highest earning for Raiwlay while Uday Kumar for their excellent works. Vinayak Meshram, SI is being felicitated for ensuring safety of passengers and railway properties.
