Three Naxalites involved in an IED blast attack on security forces in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district have been arrested, the police said on Wednesday.

Bijapur Superintendent of Police Kamlochan Kashyap said they were caught on Tuesday from Murdanda village by a joint team of CRPF, STF, CoBRA and district police.

They were identified as Kadti Bhima (31), Kunjam Sanna (30) and Kadti Sula (21).

They were involved in an IED explosion in which a CRPF trooper engaged in road security on the Awapalli-Basaguda route was injured last week, Kashyap added. A court sent them to jail.
