Three Naxalites, one of them carrying a reward of Rs 5 lakhs on his head, surrendered in Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh, police said on Sunday.
Lokesh Muchaki alias Ganga alias Barum, Muchaki Muda and Ayata Kuhdam turned themselves in on Saturday, Dantewada Superintendent of Police Gaurav Rai said.
Ganga, who carried the bounty, was the Dumam Local Organisation Squad Commander while the two others were lower rung cadres of the outlawed Maoist group.
They were involved in several Naxalite incidents.
So far, 659 Naxalites, 168 of them carrying cash rewards, have given up violence in Dantewada.
