Three labourers sustained critical burn injuries after coming in contact with molten metal at Sourabh Rolling Mill located in Urla industrial area near Raipur, police said here on Sunday.
“The incident happened on the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday around 3 am when molten metal in the plant spilled on them,” Station House Officer (SHO) , Urla, Kadir Khan said.
Three persons had sustained about 90 per cent burn injuries and were rushed to Dr BR Ambedkar Memorial Hospital, the SHO said.
The victims were identified as Vinod Yadav, Pawan Sahni and Radheshaym all hailing from Devaria region of Uttar Pradesh, he added.
