The Central Cabinet has approved one Jawahar Navodaya School each for Narayanpur, Bijapur and Kondagaon districts of Bastar in Chhattisgarh.
Union Cabinet Secretary Pradeep Kumar Sinha gave information in this context in a meeting of Chief Secretaries of various states including Chhattisgarh held on Thursday through video conferencing, officials here informed.
He said that three Jawahar Navodaya Schools will be started in Chhattisgarh soon.
In the meeting, State Electronics and Information Technology Secretary informed that broadcast of Doordarshan will also be started in Jagdalpur from month of June next year.
