Three IAS officers assigned new duties

The Chhattisgarh Government on Tuesday assigned new duties to three Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and an Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer.

As per the order, Dr Kamalpreet Singh , Special Secretary, General Administration Department, Director, Food , Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department and Special Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department had been made Director, Institutional Finance until further orders. He had also been assigned additional charge as Special Secretary, Finance Department.

Similarly, Bharati Dasan, Managing Director, Chhattisgarh State Marketing Federation, Raipur apart from the current duties had been assigned additional charge as  Director, Food , Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department.Sharda Verma, Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Raipur district office had been posted as Registrar, Firms and Societies besides being assigned additional charge as Deputy Secretary, Commerce & Industry Department. After Verma assumes charge as Registrar, Firms and Societies, A K Toppo, Joint Secretary, Home, Transport and Director, Estates and Registrar, Firms and Societies would be relieved off additional charge of only Registrar, Firms and Societies.Sanjay Shukla, IFS, Commissioner, Chhattisgarh Housing Board is now only the  Secretary of Housing and Environment Department.
