Chhattisgarh Police on Monday arrested three persons including a couple for killing a man after a row over a petty issue in Korba district.
Korba Superintendent of Police Bhojram Patel identified them as Heera Sai (60) and his wife Budhwara Bai (58) and a relative, Baraku Sai (65), all from Vijaypur village.
They killed Kapil Sai (40), the nephew of Heera Sai and Budhwara Bai.
The incident took place earlier on Monday when Kapil Sai had a verbal spat with the accused after consuming alcohol.
The argument turned violent and in a fit of rage they hacked Kapil Sai with an axe to death.
