Chhattisgarh Police on Friday arrested three satta bookies for extorting money and abetting a 36-year-old businessman to commit suicide in Raigarh city.
Raigarh Superintendent of Police Abhishek Meena identified them as Karan Agrawal, Mohammad Afzal and Dharmendra Sharma, all from the city.
Businessman Mayanak Mittal, who suffered a huge financial loss on cricket betting, on Wednesday hanged himself after harassment and threats by the accused to recover their money. A court sent them to prison.
