A three-day ‘Chhattisgarh Mahotsav’ will be organised under the aegis of Chhattisgarh Sanskratik Sansthan here in Magneto, The Mall from October 31 to November 2.
An array of cultural programmes including a Fashion Show, Chhattisgarhi Kavi Sammelan and Chhattisgarhi Film Star Night will be organised to mark the occasion, informed Programme Coordinator, Chhattisgarh Sanskratik Sansthan, Gayatri Kesharwani and Advocate Smita Pandey.
Besides, stalls of Chhattisgarhi foods along with a quiz show and an exhibition to showcase photographs of tourism destinations and places of Archaeological importance of Chhattisgarh will be held in the fair. The models will appear in popular Chhattisgarhi attire in the fashion show. As there no bar on age or gender of the participants.
A Chhattisgarhi Kavi Sammelan will be organised on November 1 while the Chhattisgarhi film star, Mitawa along with the team of Chhattisgarhi film Baap Bade Na Bhaiya, Sable Bada Rupaiyaa will mark their presence during Chhattisgarhi Film Star Night programme on November 2.
Notably, Chhattisgarh Sanskratik Sansthan has extended its assistance in the campaign to promote Chhattisgarhi language. The programme will be held under the patronage of the State Agriculture Minister, Brijmohan Agrawal and the Tourism and Culture Minister Ajay Chandrakar while Brajesh Choube, Tapesh Jain and Gopal Agrawal will be providing their guidance to make the fair a major success.
