Teens kill friend over kabaddi skills

Published on:

Police on Tuesday arrested two teenage boys for killing a 10-year-old boy as they were jealous of kabaddi skill in Chhattisgarh's Durg district.

Durg Superintendent of Police Abhishek Pallava said the killer boys -- aged 13 and 17 years -- of Ruda village have been taken into custody.

They killed Sameer Sahu alias Santu of the same village on September 20 while returning home after playing kabaddi.

The teenagers told the police that they crushed Sahu to death and dumped his body inside a gunny bag as they were greatly upset with Sahu’s attacking skills in kabaddi.
