A 19-year-old youth knifed to death a young man after the latter failed to recognize him at a book stall here in Raipur city. Raipur's Additional Superintendent of Police Lakhan Pawar Patle said Miraj Qureshi of Baijnath Para area was taken into custody for slitting the throat of Bhola Tandi (21) with a knife.
The murder followed an argument after Tandi failed to recognize Qureshi at the book stall located in the Kotwali police station limits.
Police arrested the killer and recovered the murder weapon.
