Chhattisgarh Police on Tuesday arrested six persons including a teenage boy for looting Rs 13.33 lakhs from a contractual power company employee in Bilaspur city. One accused is at large.
Bilaspur Senior Superintendent of Police Parul Mathur said mastermind Pintu Yadav and Vicky Singh, Mangal Singh Gond, Raja Gond, Shubham Bais and a 17-year-old boy have been taken into custody.
They are residents of Bilaspur city. Efforts are on to nab Dharmendra Yadav, she added.
They looted Virendra Sonwani (22) in the Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Co Ltd. The incident took place on Monday night when Sahu was counting the money.
The police caught them from their residences and seized Rs 11.70 lakhs in cash from them.
