Chhattisgarh’s Raipur district will seek assistance from the staff of schools and colleges to achieve the target of cent percent vaccination among teenagers in the age group 15-18.
The registration for vaccination will commence from January 1 and vaccination will start on January 3.
Raipur Smart City Ltd Additional Managing Director Chandrakant Verma and Zila Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Mayank Chaturvedi jointly took a meeting of Education (School-Higher), Health and Medical Department officials on Thursday here, an official communication said.
The meeting discussed the formalities and strategy to achieve cent percent vaccination target.
Raipur Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr Meera Baghel said all the vaccination related guidelines have to be strictly adhered. There should be coordination between the Health and Education departments.
She said the vaccination can also be taken in a roster format by taking assistance from school and college staff.
The meeting decided that if any boy or girl finds it difficult to register, he or she will be provided registration facility at the vaccination point.
