In capital city of Raipur, a teacher, working with Central School lost his life after he had a scuffle with the person who had arrived to his residence based at Indraprasth Phase-I, DD Nagar early Saturday morning for recovery of loan. Police is investigating the case as how much money was taken as loan and the reasons of death.
As per information received, deceased teacher Chhaturam Suryavanshi was working as a teacher in Central School based at Raipur. His wife is also a teacher, based at Dharsiwa Government school. She had gone to school when the incident happened.
Police said that deceased teacher was getting ready to go to school. One person named Pawan Jain arrived at his residence to recover the loan amount. The talks between both of them then turned into scuffle. Meanwhile, the neighbours also arrived at the spot but no one tried to pacify both.
During this, deceased teacher fell on the ground and received grievous injury. He was then rushed to the hospital but succumbed to the injuries while undergoing treatment.
Station incharge DD Nagar A Ansar said that police is investigating the incident. Only after the post-mortem report is received, whether it is a case of murder or death by fall can be ascertained. Police is considering both aspects for investigation. The incident has occurred after the scuffle, he adds.
