The commercial tax department is going to launch Statewide tax recovery drive, informed sources on Saturday.
During the drive businessmen would be asked to present details related to taxes filed by them and action would be initiated against defaulters. Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) DS Mishra has instructed commercial tax department commission to start the drive. The ACS in the instruction issued said that by June 30 commercial taxes of about 669 crore is remaining.
