Congress National General Secretary and in-charge of Chhattisgarh for party's Women’s Wing, Anjali Tapre addressed a meeting at the Congress Bhawan here on Wednesday.
Recalling Congress party's three successive poll defeats in Chhattisgarh in a row, Tapre stressed on the need of extensive public contact campaign.
Asserting that the ruling BJP government in the state was anti-tribal, Tapre said the people of the state were anxious and now wanted a change of regime.
“Election is like a war and we have to enter the battlefield with complete preparation”, she said adding “we must take lessons from our three consecutive poll defeats and should now roll up our sleeves to dethrone the BJP Government of the State”.
