The National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights chairperson Shatabdhi Subodh Pandey convened a meeting of police officials as well as committee members to discuss various issues about the protection of rights of children here on Monday. Pandey, during the meeting, stated that the police officials and the committee members should be vigilant that nobody should be violating the rights of children and exploiting them.
She said that there are a number of laws formed for the upliftment of children but they are not being enforced properly due to the negligence of officials. She also directed that strict action should be taken against the persons exploiting children. Additional Superintendent of Police Dr lal Umed Singh , Sub Divisional Officer Sanjay Mahadeva along with other officials were present in the meeting.
