Collector Reena Babasaheb Kangale has directed the industrial units in the district to take all necessary measures for preventing accidents. Kangale , while chairing a district-level meeting of Industrial Accidents Controlling Committee directed to constitute a Committee that will decide as to how much compensation could be paid to a person in case of an accident.
The Collector also stated that it is mandatory for the industrial units to intimate the SHO and the SDM along with the Competent Officer regarding accidents that has occurred in the industrial units. She warned of stern action for if the officials failed to abide by her directives. Directives were also issued not to employ minors in the industrial units.
