The Chhattisgarh Government on Tuesday stripped two IAS officers of all posts they were holding as they face possible arrest in a multi-million civil supply scam.
The Government order against Principal Secretary Alok Shukla and IAS promotee Anil Tuteja came days after the Government gave permission for prosecuting the two IAS officers under various sections of the IPC for their alleged involvement in the scam. The General Administration Department (GAD) in an order said that the 1986-batch IAS officer Alok Shukla, Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Department, has been temporarily posted as Principal Secretary Mantralaya till further orders.
Anil Tuteja, Director, Panchayat, has been posted as Joint Secretary, Mantralaya, temporarily. Vikaas Sheel, Secretary, General Administration Department, has been posted as Secretary ,Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education Department, till further orders. He is given additional charge as Secretary, GAD. Surendra Kumar Jaiswal, Special Secretary, General Administration Department (Mantralaya), has been posted temporarily as Director, Panchayat Department, till further orders.
