Adequate steps have been taken in Medical & Health Services Department of Bhilai Steel Plant for swine flu control and at the JlN Hospital and Research Centre. An equipped and separate ward has been created for all suspected and positive cases, a statement of the Bhilai Steel Plant informed on Saturday.
“All medical staff have been given masks to use while on duty. Enough number of vaccines have been procured and given to medical employees working in critical areas, including cleaning staff,’’ the statement added. It further stated that sufficient number of tamiflu tablets had been procured and are being provided to people found suffering from swine flu. The treatment of infected patients is being done properly and as many as 12 patients have been discharged from hospital after recovery.
