A hardcore Naxal, who was on the run for the past 8 years, has finally come into the police net.
As many as three permanent warrants were issued for his arrest, Superintendent of Police, Kondagaon, Abhishek Meena informed on Monday. The ultra Jagram (30) resident of Permapal was a member of Janmilitia active in Permapal. Janmilitia is one of the groups belonging to banned organisation Communist Party of India (Maoist).
“He ( Jagram) was picked up from his house on a precise intelligence input from Permapal village by a joint squad of CAF (Chhattisgarh Armed Force) and Bayanar police,” Meena said.
Jagram had joined Naxal outfit in 2004 and was actively involved in insurgency activities. In 2005, the insurgent, along with other Naxals had attacked police forces twice and had also damaged an Ashram in Bayanar.
