Various summer tennis coaching camps are being successfully organised jointly by All India Tennis Association, Chhattisgarh State Tennis Association (CSTA) and Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) across the State. CSTA General Secretary Gurucharan Singh Hora informed that the camps are being organised with support of CSTA President Vikram Singh Sisodiya wherein budding tennis players are being taught new playing techniques.
The tennis camp in Raipur that was slated to end in 15 days was extended for an additional week on demand from players and their parents, he said. The camp in Raipur was conducted by ITA level-3 coach Isha Chopra who also had worked as Junior Development Officer with Asian Tennis Federation for several years. During the camp, fitness improvement session for under-14 boys and girls were also held. likewise in Raigarh ITA level 3 Coach, Oris K Prabeen Kumar Nayak conducted the camp, he said.
